Marco Pieri was born in Milan in 1980. He was a student of photography at the “Istituto sperimentale Multimediale Albert Steiner”.
In 1999 he took part of a workshop about the periphery of Milan, held by William Guerrieri.
In 2000 he displayed his works at the collective exhibition “Zona 16” at the Arengario in Milan in collaboration with William Guerrieri.
Since 2001 he starts a collaboration with the Studio Azzurro Fotografia, that is still active.
In 2003 he realized “Guardando-ci”, a four-handed study with Cristina Ferrari about the synchronized images.
Since 2006 he has been totally committed to the realization of the project MenAtWindows, focusing on the study of the human interaction with the urban environment. The project consists in the creation of collective artistic actions oriented to the revitalization of unfinished and abandoned buildings.

MenAtWindows#Quarto has been realized within the project “METROCULT 2008” sponsored by the Provincia of Milan.
From April 27th to May 5th, 2007, MenAtWindows#1 has been displayed at the second edition of the event “La Fotografia europea – Reggio Emilia 2007”.
From the 15th until the 19th of June, 2008, MAW#1, MAW#2 e MAW#3 has been exposed at the Palazzo Ducale, in Genova, at the “Corpi Urbani” festival.
